From a 5th grade public school teacher who swore I would never homeschool my kids, to a momma who is deeply passionate about home education, I’m a walking embodiment of the phrase “never say never”. Homeschooling allows me to tailor to my children’s personal interests and skill levels while immersing them in real world educational experiences and life skills that will usher them through their lives. It walks hand in hand with our simple and slow living lifestyle. The flexibility homeschooling offers our family to learn through field trips, homesteading, homemaking skills, and traveling and exploring the world together is a true gift I wish every family could experience.
